Dysfashional Directive: Like Dita Von Teese Embark or Disembark At Your Destination Looking Nothing Less Than Flawlessly Voguish
December 28, 2011
Images are worth a thousand words here ladies! Whether you’re about to embark or disembark to your destination no matter how mundane a place it may be, keep is flawlessly voguish not dysfashionably unflattering whilst venturing through the airport.

Kate Winslet whilst promoting Mildred Pierce, Carnage, and Contagion around the globe in 2011 galvanized and commanded the most sultry of bodycon silhouettes in a plethora of designer dresses. The key component; yes she’s fit but besides that, superb body slimming underpinnings. Although there is some unsightly bunching with some of the looks sometimes it’s just unavoidable. With her curvaceous attributes she gets a pass from the Dysfashional Cache.

Andrea Riseborough attended the BAFTA Los Angeles 2011 Britannia Awards in a Marchesa RTW Spring 2012 white last minute rigged frock. Why the W.E. actress chose a sweetheart neckline without the proper support and breast enhancing underpinnings is beyond dysfashionably reprehensible. What is even more unsightly is what looks like a feeble attempt to embellish her inadequate bust line for this look protrudes through the fabric under the bust line. She should have never opted for such a bold neckline without the proper readies to amply fill it. Her stylist should have had several bust enhancing looks to properly sort it. It’s already hideous that the tulle on this Marchesa look seems like a rush hodgepodge design flaw but the deflated look of the bust line just makes it ghastly.
Ladies, Victoria Secret has the most incredible looks for this type of neckline should you need them. Spend the time on paying attention to the details of how imperative a great underpinning is part of the “Dare To Be Flawless” equation. Your look and everyone that sees you in it will appreciate the effort.
Dysfashional Directive: For Those Men Who Dare To Be Dashing! Cary Grant, The Cravat Worn Flawlessly
December 1, 2011
Cary Grant owned and staked his sartorial claim on the quintessential haberdashery item known as the Cravat. Like Mr. Grant it you so choose to opt for this dashing look it is most dapper on a man with a long lean torso not a burly body type that at the turn of his head perspires profusely.

This is a Dysfashional Directive Special Alert: Box up your nude shoe looks and remove them from your sight! There are a potpourri of shoe looks from the Spring 2012 collections that will not only ignite your looks but add that quintessential fierceness to them as well.
The Elie Saab RTW Spring 2012 Collection has a stunning collection of sheath dress looks and a gorgeous sapphire hued jumpsuit. Glazing over the style.com accessories -shoes picks for Spring 2012 I selected a few fantastic options for these silhouettes. Now everyone loves a sheath dress look because it offers that step in, zip up, and out the door convenience perk, therefore providing the careerist chic woman on the move ample time to select a stunning shoe look not a mundane nude bore of a look! So use that extra time ladies to GLAM UP your look not yawn it down. My work here is done!

Holiday party season is steadfast approaching and so too will those work related event invitations be stuffing your “in” box. Surely this can be taxing on ones sartorial nerves especially if you work in fashion, entertainment, etc. I say don’t give in to apprehension and the overwhelming desire to procrastinate procuring the perfect look. Fret no more black fashion confections will always come to the rescue when time is limited and added pounds are present. I say focus on accessorizes to galvanize that all black festive look.
Dysfashional Directive Extraction and Swap: Kristen Stewart’s Belt Look At Breaking Dawn Pt 1 UK Premiere
November 16, 2011
Kristen Stewart was garbed in a gleaming dream of a towering Roberto Cavalli RTW Spring 2012 gown at The Westfield Stratford City UK Premiere of Summit Entertainment’s The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Pt 1.
Kristen accessorized the look with an Alexander McQueen warrior concept belt which definitely enhanced the fit of the gown but didn’t compliment the sultry look of this magnificent look. In addition to the The Dysfashional Directive Extraction of this Alexander McQueen belt there is a serious need for it to be swapped with preferably a peaked corset black patent belt designed by none other than the master himself Azzedine Alaia or the “Bly” by Jimmy Choo since she opted to wear a peep toe shoe look from Jimmy Choo which coincidentally Tamara Mellon just recently resigned from.
Dysfashional Directive: Like Meryl Streep Don’t Sacrifice A Look For Comfort…No Pain No Voguish Gain
November 15, 2011
Meryl Streep attended a photocall appearance in London to promote her upcoming Weinstein Company feature “The Iron Lady.” The Oscar winning actress wore a very chic editrix Stella McCartney gilded print silk dolman sleeve dress and a stunning over sized gleaming white shawl collar coat that definitely channeled her Miranda Priestly “The Devil Wears Prada” character. A blatant misguided choice to pair this look with an unfortunate boot look massacred its overall voguish potential.
In the grand scheme of sartorial flawless The Dysfashional Directive is vehemently for sacrificing comfort to make a look as fantastical as possible. Clearly Ms Streep should take heed of such a concept so therefore I present the bejeweled Alexander McQueen Fall 2011 Jeweled Finned Wedge as a Dysfashional Directive Swap and subsequent Extraction of her boot look.

Amy Adams stepped out on the red carpet to promote her latest feature film project The Muppets in a Roland Mouret hourglass ensemble but in her case sans the hourglass. While the bodice portion of the look was a flawless fit the skirt portion well I’ve already put my Dysfashional Directive “Two Cents’ regarding her misguided style choice to wear pencil skirt looks. Let me just amend my previous assessment and issue this imperative guideline should you opt to attempt a very fitted pencil skirt look. Only heart shaped and onion shaped posteriors need apply! So basically if your bum mimics a bloated lower abdominal STEP AWAY FROM THE PENCIL SKIRT LOOK! OK done!
Now on to her nude shoe, which I think are Christian Louboutin Pigalle pumps but she opted to nix the red sole and have them modified as a plain sole since it would look ridiculous to match it with the red skirt portion of her look. The applicable Dysfashional Directive order here to always wear a very sheer 8 Denier Naked Tight or sheer hosiery look from Wolford or her preferred brand. Perhaps then I wouldn’t be able to make out the vein pattern and the abundant amount of freckles on her lovely shaped calves hence the title of my post “If You Can’t Camouflage It …Put A Pair Of Hose On Those Gams.”
***UPDATE*** as per Shoerazzi.com the pumps are Jimmy Choo ‘s “Anouk” Pumps. http://shoerazzi.com/amy-adams-in-jimmy-choo/ they are so very similar to the CL Pigalle.
Dysfashional Directive: Catherine, Duchess Of Cambridge is “Prom and Circumstance” Yet Should Always Remain ” A Voguish Duchess This Way Comes”
November 12, 2011
The lovely Duchess of Cambridge opted for a flawless dove grey silk satin chiffon Grecian design concept gown look from Jenny Packham and a metallic platform sandal whilst hosting a charity event to aid The National Memorial Arboretum Appeal. I am in awe of the flawless flow of this gown considering it’s silk satin chiffon and extremely difficult to remain in pristine wrinkle free condition. No doubt due to an extraordinary master craft seamstress this dress was lined impeccably to maintain its stunning design concept as it billows while she gracefully made her royal entrance, worked the room, and exited the event.
My qualm and Dysfastional Directive subject is her shoe look. A metallic silver sandal is just so typical a pairing and so very “Prom and Circumstance.” Someone of her station should remain “A Voguish Duchess This Way Comes” therefore an extraction and ideal swap would be the Roger Vivier pearly pink satin and metallic silver clear crystal embellished 4 inch black platform sandal and voilà instant upgrade.
